While hundreds of employees completed the year accident free, seven employees continued their perfect driving records for another year…and yes, I am knocking on wood! W. L. Roenigk is proud to announce that each of these seven individuals have all retained their perfect safe driving records for over 17 years.

Completing her 17th year is Doreen Ortman who has been a driver for the Highlands School District since she started with the company in 1998. Deborah Mason has maintained her record for 18 years while driving a school bus out of our Melwood garage. MaryAnne Pavlik added another year to her record bringing her to 19 years of safe accident free driving for the Highlands and Deer Lakes School Districts. Chad Palko, who had driven school bus and trucks since 1995 and is now the Manager at the Acme Garage reached his 20 year milestone.

Audra Rea continues with a perfect record or 21 years while driving for New Kensington, Burrell and Leechburg School Districts. Starting in 1990 at the insistence of her husband Mike, Hope Roenigk has reached 25 perfect years of driving a school bus. And the top honor goes to Sandy Adamik who has been safely driving a school bus for 27 years. And although Sandy takes a lot of teasing from her husband about her shelves of awards, I’m sure he is as proud of Sandy as all of us. We are proud of all of our safe driving champions. Their dedication to safe driving is an inspiration to everyone.
